About Pathway to Progress Education
Story
My name is Nicki Hartley. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2008 with a BSc in Sport Science & Mathematics and PGCE in Secondary Physical Education, I have spent the past 18 years as a PE teacher and Director of Sport around grammar and independent schools in Buckinghamshire.
This year I have stepped away from being based in school full time to allow me to support schools and students in achieving their potential, building confidence and sharing my passion for academic PE qualifications.
Skills & Experience
- 18 years of teaching A Level and GCSE PE to the highest grades
- 8 years Visiting Moderator for AQA A Level PE
- 6 years as Director of Sport in academically selective grammar and independent schools
- Mentor for numerous NQTs/ECTs
- Informal support and advisor to local HoDs regarding A Level PE structure, delivery and assessment
